Bay Leaves

Bay is the leaf of an evergreen tree native to the Mediterranean region. The spice is also known as "Sweet Bay," "Bay Laurel," "Nobel Laurel" and True Laurel." The whole leaf is used in soups and stews and some spaghetti sauces, its flavor strengthens the longer it cooks. Be sure to pull out the leaf before serving.

Steamed Bay Leaf Shrimp With Garlic

2 dozen Shrimp, 1 12-oz. beer,
1 Bay leaf,
2 Tsp Parsley,
1 tablespoon minced garlic,
1 stick of butter
Angel Hair Pasta - cooked

Wash and Peel shrimp, on medium heat cook shrimp in butter and add remaining ingredients. Toss with pasta.
